Hi, I'm Upeka.
My name, Upeka, means the capacity to be present with all that is, with steadiness. This is the heart of my work.

Hi, I'm Upeka.

We swallow a lot.
Emotions. Words. Our voices. Our songs. Our boundaries. Our gifts.
Because we learned somewhere it wasn’t quite safe to express them.

Maybe you recognise this, showing up in life from a place of protection. Hiding parts of yourself. Moving through relationships, work, daily life with a low hum of fear underneath. Finding yourself holding back.

The work is to take a good, loving look at the reality that lives within us.

To see the beliefs, emotions, protective parts, and patterns we are living from. To sit with them. Get to know them. Befriend them. Feel what they carry, so they no longer have to carry it alone.

It’s a process of learning to lean into the discomfort with curiosity and love, so what we carry can be understood and gradually released. In this, we also strengthen our capacity to sit calmly in the storms that arise as we go forth in life. Lessening our need to swallow, suppress, and hide. Creating more space for joy, connection and the full experience of being alive.

Little by little, we no longer need to swallow so much of ourselves and can show up with an increasing steadiness to meet life, in the ups and the downs.

Work with me

If something in you just recognised itself, this may be for you.

I work with women ready to stop swallowing and start meeting themselves more fully.

You come with whatever is alive in you: a pattern, a struggle, something you wish to explore more deeply. Together we go beneath it. Meeting the parts, emotions, and patterns involved. Mentally, emotionally, somatically. Giving them space to be seen, felt, and understood.

So you can show up with deeper strength, self-knowing, self-love, and steadiness. More able to be yourself. And to say a bigger yes to life.

€80 per session · 75 mins · weekly or biweekly

IFS parts work · somatic therapy · inner child work · present moment awareness · menstrual cycle awareness · ACT

Hi! I'm Upeka

For much of my life, I swallowed parts of myself. My emotions, my fears, my needs, my gifts.

Growing up around mental illness, and later experiencing my own struggles, I came to know firsthand what it is like to really suffer in your mind and emotions. Somewhere along the way, I realised that if I was going to live this life, I needed to figure some things out.

That feeling led me to study psychology and then counselling, while dedicating myself to my own healing and understanding. I have made it the study of my life to sit deeply with pain. To understand it, not fear it, to learn to approach it with love and lightness. In order to create more and more space for joy, love, and peace.

To find deeper trust in life, courage to face it, and openness to feel all of it.

I am here to share this study.
